Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Carver Ranches Partners, Inc. ("CRP," "we," "us"), an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity, collects and uses information through carverranchespartners.org and the CRPHub app (together, the "Services").

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

• Account information: your email address, or the name and email (which may be Apple's private relay address) that you choose to share when you use Sign in with Apple, and the first name and last initial shown on your community posts
• Contact information (name, email, phone) submitted through forms like Contact, Volunteer, and Community Care
• Ranches Kidd membership information, including your name, optional contact details, optional date of birth, the year you moved to Carver Ranches, and optional community-history details like school attended and family names
• For a minor registered by a parent or guardian: the child's name and date of birth, and the guardian's own contact information and consent, provided by the guardian, not the child
• Content you create: your profile photo, community discussion posts and replies, business listings and their photos, job and volunteer postings, saved businesses and opportunities, and volunteer interest
• Donation information, including amount and, if provided, your name and email; full payment card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our systems
• Event registration and ticketing information for events, including the QR passes and check-in records that staff scan
• If you allow notifications: a push notification token that identifies your device to Apple's notification service, your notification choices, the events you follow for reminders, and a record of the notifications sent to you
• Free-event registrations and attendance (whether you were checked in). Event staff scan your QR code with their phone camera; the app uses the camera only to read codes and does not save images

The CRPHub app does not collect your location, does not use advertising or analytics trackers, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

3. Children's Privacy

You must be at least 13 to create a CRPHub account. CRP's Ranches Kidd membership allows a parent or guardian to register a minor. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13; a minor's registration information is provided by, and consented to by, their parent or guardian. We do not publish any minor's personal information, including date of birth, contact information, family information, or guardian information, publicly. A parent or guardian may request that their child's information be corrected or removed by contacting us.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate CRP programs, membership, events, and Community Care requests
• Run the app's features: your profile, community discussions, the business directory, opportunities, saved items, and your digital membership card
• Process donations and send receipts
• Communicate with you about programs, events, and requests you've made, including push notifications you allow
• Verify Ranches Kidd membership connections to Carver Ranches, and review business listings and job postings before they are published
• Keep the community safe: moderate content, review reports, and enforce our Terms
• Improve the Services

We do not sell personal information.

5. What Others Can See

Other CRPHub members see your first name, last initial, and profile photo on discussion posts and replies. Approved business listings and job or volunteer postings, including the business details and photos you submit, are public. Ranches Kidd membership information, your date of birth, your contact details, and your saved items are visible only to you and to CRP staff or administrators who need them, and are never published.

6. Who We Share Information With

We use Supabase to store data and handle sign-in, Stripe to process payments, Apple for Sign in with Apple and push notifications, and Resend to deliver transactional emails, such as event confirmations. Your use of payment features is also subject to Stripe's own privacy practices. These providers process information for us and not for their own marketing purposes. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose information when the law requires it or to protect people's safety.

7. Data Retention, Deletion, and Your Choices

We retain information as long as needed to operate the Services and meet our recordkeeping obligations as a nonprofit.

You can delete your account yourself in the app (Profile, then Account Management, then Delete Account). Deleting your account removes your Ranches Kidd membership record, volunteer record, care-request contact details, notification tokens and settings, saved items, and profile photo, closes your business listings and postings, and ends your access. We keep records that we need for financial and operational recordkeeping, such as orders, payments, tickets, check-ins, donation records, and audit records; discussion posts and replies you wrote remain but are no longer connected to you. You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete your information (or, for a minor, their information) at any time by contacting us. You can turn off push notifications at any time in iOS Settings, and if you've opted in to marketing communications, you can unsubscribe at any time.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections, row-level access controls on our database, role-based staff access, and never storing full payment card numbers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
